Liston Driggers

 

SWANSEA - Services for Liston Elmore Driggers, 78, of Swansea, will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, conducted by the Rev. Edward Tager, Bishop Darrell Croft, and Pastor Carroll Hurley, with burial in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Church of God Home For Children. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

 

Mr. Driggers died Thursday, November 13, 2003. Born in Kingstree, he was a son of the late Butler and Pearl Timmons Driggers. He was a member of Swansea Church of God and had retired from Interpace Pipe Company.

 

Surviving are his daughters and sons-in-law, Bobbie and Randy McCaw of Juliette, Ga., and Betty and Gene Jumper of Lexington; sons and daughters-in-law, Furman "Ray" Driggers of Ridgeway, Liston "Roy" and Lynn Driggers of Molena, Ga., and Howard and Joyce Driggers of Swansea; sister, Emily Driggers Lanning of South Congaree; brothers, J.L. Driggers of Lake City, Allard Driggers of El Paso, Texas, Butler J. "Charles" Driggers of Oklahoma City, David "Bubba" Driggers of Johnsonville; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

 

He was predeceased by a brother, Cleo Driggers.
