Died, on 15th April last, at his residence at Effingham, Darlington
county, Theodore G. Cannon, in the 48th year of his age. In May 1857,
he was married to Miss Hester M. Timmons, daughter of the late
esteemed Rev. J. M. Timmons. Soon after he united himself with the
Elim Baptist Church, of which Rev. Timmons was and had been for over
forty years its beloved pastor.... His funeral services were held at
Elim church; sermon preached by Rev. R. R. Brooks...
