Notes for Ethan Angus COCKFIELD

In the obituary of E.A. Cockfield in The Florence Morning News 10 Oct 1948 it says:
E. Angus Cockfield, 77, of Lake City died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Marvin
Thornhill of Santee at 1a.m. saturday after several months illness..........
He is survived by his widow, four daughters, Mrs. W.L. Matthews of Manning,
Mrs. Marvin Thornhill of Santee, Mrs. C.H. Bootle and Mrs. Leland Dozier of Florence;
two sisters, Mrs. Ila Cockfield of Charleston, three brothers, A.T. Cockfield, Florence,
Samuel Cockfield Salters, W.J. Cockfield of Lake City.
(Mrs Marvin Thornhill is Maggie COCKFIELD.)

He lived with us some while he was sick (right after I was born).

Angus had sister Ila who married a Cockfield?
