Rev. Paul L'ESCOT was the minister of the Charles Town Huguenot Church for
many years. He had a daughter, Frances, who married one Peter
VILLEPONTEAUX, a wealthy Huguenot. He died about 1747 and she about 1752.
They had one daughter, Frances, and four unnamed sons.

The date for Frances L'ESCOTT above must be wrong. The will for her husband does not mention
her. The incorrect date probably came from mother's will, which lists the name as Frances
L'Escott. She must have died before her husband who died in 1747.
