Notes for Pierre de RIVASSON


Occupation: Judge (Lt. du Baillif)
a) Pierre de Rivasson had married the daughter of Jacques de BELRIEU (and not BARRIEU). In 1591, he succeeded his father-in-law as general Lieutenant of the Baillif.
b) He had married Marthe de Belrieu, a few years before, perhaps about 1585. Marthe de Belrieu was the daughter of Marguerite LECOMTE.

He was also known as "Lieutenant Général du Bailly, judge à Bergerac"
