Notes for Zacharie (Zacarie) VILLEPONTOUX


In the end of the 17th century, the Villepontoux family was important in Bergerac. Zacharie
Willepontoux, father of Pierre was an "ancient" of the Huguenot Church of Bergerac. He was also advocate.
The Villepontoux family is still existing in France, mainly in Perigord.

This family name appears to be spelled Zacarie in Bergerac register.

Zachary Villepontoux, 3rd son of Zachary of (Duoce?) & of Damselle Marguerite La Foy, born on 24 Feb 1667,
baptized 17 Feb 1668.
