Notes for Samuel de RIVASSON


Jacques Sorb and Samuel Rivasson were mentioned in the book "Galley Slave", autobiography of Jean Marteilhe. They saw the pitiful state of Jean Marteilhe and decided to abjure their Huguenot faith and return to Catholicism. Jacques Sorb and Samuel Rivasson accepted commisions of Lieutenant and
were killed at the time of their first battle.
