Thomas Cannon

TIMMONSVILLE - Private memorial services for Thomas Edward Cannon, 57, will be held at later date. The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. tonight at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, 4210 West Palmetto St. Memorials may be made to Timmonsville Rescue Squad, Box 9, Timmonsville 29161.

Mr. Cannon died Sunday, March 7, 1999, after an illness. Born in Washington, D.C., he was a son of Ruth Pritchard Cannon and the late Emil Timmons Cannon. He was an accomplished musician and had received many awards.

Surviving are his mother of Timmonsville; brother, Ralph B. Cannon of Timmonsville; nephew, Byrd Cannon.
