Brabant is a region of Belgium. During this time, Cornelius was a common name in that area.

In the 1500's there was a de Glimes de Brabant family in Middleburg/Middelburg Netherlands.
Thierry de Glimes de Brabant died 1574 in Middleburg. His parents were Antoine de Glimes de Brabant 1526-1609 and Marie de Dion +1556
In 1557, his father married Claudine Emerance Aux Brebis de Saint-Mart +1574 in Fraire,Namur,Belgique and they had a daughter
Antoinette de Glimes de Brabant born 4 JUL 1574 who married Ferry de Blois.
