                           JOHN TIMMONS SR.

The State of South Carolina)  
Marion District            )  In the Name of God Amen I John Timmons Senr
                              of the above mentioned State and District, 
Being in Reasonable Health of Body and in my perfect mind Senses and mem-
mory of mind Thanks Be to God--for his Blefsing for the Same--Knowing that 
it is appointed unto all Men once To die Most Humbly Recommend and Be-
queath my Soul to God from whence it came and Give my Body to the Earth, 
Leaving my Funeral to the Discrefsion of my Executors in whom I make no 
debt But the Same will be manageed discreetly Etc.----

As Touching my Wordly Goods and Chattles To which it hath pleased God to 
Blefs me with, I now will and Bequeath in the following manner (To wit,

Item ed I will all my Just debts to Be paid though none of any Magnitude
Item 2d I give unto my wele Beloved Son John Timmons Jun., one young Negroe wo-
man Name Jean and her increase also one Negroe Girl Name Eley and her in-
crease though none yet  Item 3d I give and Bequeath unto my Beloved Son
Samuel Timmons one young Negro Woman Name Jane & a Negro Girl Name Wiloby
Item 4th I give and Bequeath unto my Son Simeon Timmons a Negroe Woman
Named Minder with all her increase also a Negroe Boy Named Jack also a
Negro Boy amos  Item 5th I give and Bequeath unto well Beloved Son Jon Isaac
Timmons--one Negroe Woman Name Phebe and ale her Increase and a Negroe
Woman named Denny with her Increase from this date- - also a Negroe Man
Abram also a Negroe man Name Harry  Item 6d I give and Bequeath unto my
Beloved Grand Jofiah Harrels a Negro Girl Named Esther though per adventure
Should my Grand Son Jofiah Harrell Die without any heir of his Body then
the said Negro Girl is to return to the heirs of my Body again--7th Item 
I give and Bequeath unto my four Grand Children which was the heirs of
Moses Benton - a Negro woman Named Nelah and her increase-also a Negro
man Named Georg--  Item 8th I give and Bequeath unto wele Beloved Grandsons/Sons
John Morgan and william James Timmons Sons of william Timmons Deceased a 
Bed and Furniture apice after my Death 9th Item also I give and Bequeath
unto Elizabeth Cains the Daughter of Elizar Cains one Negroe Girl Named 
mourning peradventurre Neverthelefs Should this Elizabeth Cains Die without
any Lawful Ishue of her own Body then the Negro Girl Mourning is to return
to the Heirs of my Body----Item 10th I will and Bequeath unto my Beloved

Son in law Lewis Harrell Sns., one Dolear peces.  Item I further wile
and Bequeath unto my Beloved Sons Simeon and Isaac Timmons- Viz after my 
Death to Isaac Timmons the plantation wheare I now reside with on Thou-
sand acres of Land Lying mostly on the Creek, and the Remainder of my 
Land lying out Back from the Creek to my Son Simeon Timmons - also to my
son Isaac Timmons ale my Stock of Cattle---After my Death all my House
and Kitchen Furniture not after my Death---Before Mentioned with all the perishable prop-
erty to Be Equally Divided Between my four sons viz John Samuel Simeon and 
Isaac Timons-- and do By these pressents appoint these presents above to 
Be my last will and Testament and do hereby revoke all former wills in 
my Name and do hereby these presents my Binding will and Bequeath and do 
appoint my Two sons Simeon and Isaac Timmons Execrs as witnefs my hand
and Interchangeable Set and fix my Seal this- 17 day of February
