This story is from my Dad, but is also in Happy Heritage. (Cataplexy indeed appears in the lines descended from Mary. A close relative was connected to a heart monitor when she laughed and seemed to flat line for about a minute before her heart started beating strongly and her blood pressure shoot up way high.)

Just a few months after Mary PEACOCK married, she collasped with no measureable heart beat. She was buried in her Wedding Dress and jewels. When grave robbers cut her finger off to get her rings, she woke up. She later gave birth to her only child and a few months later "died for all time".

In Revolutionary War served under General Francis Marion. Was in Col. Benton's regiment

May have died 2-1-1802.

Not sure but thought it was a John Harrell who's wife did that but not sure now. Belive John lost first wife and had a daughter by her then wanted a son but first wife died so he married a much younger gal. She was expecting when she died so burried her in wedding gown. Robbers woke her cutting off finger and she survived to have a son. Son was named Lewis and was about the third Lewis Harrell of the time period. Will have to do some digging as had that story from somebody and now will need to find it again as I'm still trying to get old facts back into a new computer after my older computer crashed.

The Timmons line tie heavy into Harrell with Lewis Harrell born around 1767 son of Jacob Harrell born about 1734 but will shows died in 1787 in SC both Lewis and Levi his sons named in will and also a grandson Levi but not clear father of Levi Jr... but assume it to be Levi not Lewis or a younger son Jasper, think nickname as he may have been Jacob but called Jasper. Lewis wed first a Sarah Perkins daughter of a ? Perkins who was a lead surveyor in SC so a man of some improtance in area, and by will and from other things have found seen belive Lewis was the bad boy of family as father limited what he would get in will and was firm about him not getting more. Lewis second married Sarah Timmons daughter of John Timmons an officer in the militia and also important person in area, believe William Timmons married ?Mary? Harrell and left her as widow and she was the daughter of Jacob thus sister to Levi, Lewis, and Jasper... she would later marry again and her new spouse take in the Timmons children. Some of this not sure now since it off top of my head and don't have all my files on hand to check. Also Jacob Harrell 1734-1787 had a daugher Selah who first married a Nettles and took his two sons and rewed on his death a Silas Simmons,, Silas died in 1795 per will filed same place with same clerk took Jacob 1787 will in Charleston SC, but neither Jacob nor Silas claimed in will they from Charleston only filed will since it was place to do it at time.

You have a birth date for Lewis as 1767. You also recorded that Lewis served in the American Revolution. If we accept the dates for the full period of the American Revolution as being 1776-1783, Lewis would have been 9 years old in 1776 and 16 years old in 1783.

You have "Capt Lewis" listed as being married in 1802 but having a first child, Lewis Jr., in 1774. "Capt. Lewis would have been 7 years old??????

You have another Lewis Harrell listed, born in 1752, as having married a Ann Timmons. The birth date of this Lewis fits in with the data for "Capt. Lewis".

Now I'll add another ingredient to the pot of confusion. Jacob Harrell, father of a Lewis, names in his will a daughter Ann Timmons.

I present this in the hopes that you have a solution.
