Notes for Cecil Harold (C.H.) TIMMONS


Cecil H. "C.H." Timmons of Scranton, 80, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003 at his residence after an illness.
A funeral was held Friday, Oct. 3 in the Friendfield Pentecostal Holiness Church cemetery.
Born in Scranton, Mr. Timmons was a son of the late Dawsey and Lebenan Hayes Timmons. He was a farmer and former
employee of Roundwood Coop Of America of Florence and a member of Friendfield Pentecostal Holiness Church. He
was married to the late Vera Abrams Timmons.
Surviving are four daughters, Martha (Gerald) Hughes and Brenda (Pate) Lewis both of Scranton, Polly (Wayne) Hicks of
Hyman and Pam (John) Mundy of Huntersville, N.C.; three sons, Bennie (Jeanette) Timmons and J. C. (Loretta) Timmons both of Scranton and Harold (Marci) Timmons of Muscatine, IA; three sisters, Ruth Hayes of Florence, Margie Price of Missouri and
Marie Crowley of Sumter; two brothers, Johnny Timmons of Charelston, and Jimmy Timmons of Scranton; 13 grandchildren;
10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
