By permission of Cornelius Dupre, Esq., Ordinary will be sold, three Negroes belonging to the estate of Josiah Cockfield, decseased, March 15.

"The Family of Stephen Bull" by Henry D. Bull. Aug 1780, Josiah COCKFIELD, a soldier of Marion's Brigade was seriously wounded at Nelson's Ferry. He recovered and was later wounded again.
