Notes for George MYERS
George Myers (1773-1816) married Mary Harrell and together they came up Lynches river to a place then called Anderson Bridge (present day Florence County). George’s brother, James Myers (c1772-?) may have also settled in this area, but definite documentation has not been found on his whereabouts.
September 4, 1802
Married, at Lynches Creek, on Tuesday the 24th ult., Mr. George Myers, to Miss Mary Harrell.
